Sept. 19th, 2024 Elfin Forest Visit ++
Thursday, a leisure walk through the Elfin Forest in Baywood. Its a boardwalk trail through stunted oaks with views of Morro Bay.
10am carpool at former Kmart parking lot at 3890 El Camino Real in Atascadero (its now Sears Appliance Repair location).
We will leave at 10:15 - so if you miss us or want to meet at the site, the forest walk will start at the end of 16th street off of Santa Ysabel Ave in Baywood.
Possible lunch at the Bayside Cafe following our walk, or a detour to the local orchid nurseries?
